ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Kevin Rich, a native New Yorker, with roots in New York's Irish community, is a former United States Marine;
a member of the American Irish Historical Society; the New York Irish History Round Table and the Mechanics Institute, New York's
oldest tradesman institution. He was involved in the restoration of the historic South Street Seaport and numerous 19th Century
dwellings, where many of the immigrant depositors lived and worked. Mr. Rich also authored Irish Immigrants of the Emigrant
Industrial Savings Bank, Volume I.
